God is so good! The biopsy results are back for Randy and other than the visible damage that they already knew about, there was NO dysplasia cells! Doctors said Randy is 95% cured! They'll burn the last 5% in three weeks. Randy will have the final major surgery in October and should be 100% cured by Christmas! Thanks to everyone who has been praying!

The Hunefeld's received news that Keith's symptoms had worsened. Prayers for Blanche as she travels to spend time with Keith & his family. The surgeon believes the emergency surgery (6/13) was a success. They were not able to get the entire tumor because of risk to nearby healthy tissue, but was very pleased. In addition, Keith has all the functionality he had pre-surgery...which is good news! More than anything Blanche & Lowell's prayer is that Keith returns to the roots of his faith. Thank you so much for your prayers & support!

Request: The Hunefeld's received a call that an MRI has revealed that their son, Keith's brain tumor has grown substantially and he is needing emergency surgery. Lowell & Blanche are leaving Sunday (6/13) to be there for the surgery. They ask for your prayers, and if possible to share this prayer need with others for Keith, his wife Shannon, and 13 year old son Tyler. This is the second surgery in less than a year, and with the type of cancer Keith is fighting (glioblastoma multiform) they know a miracle is needed.

Please pray for Kathy today and tomorrow. They are going to put a port in her skull so she can get chemo in the brain to prevent the cancer from spreading. They wanted to do one on her spine but might not due to her previous back surgery. Chemo is all day Wednesday.

Thank you for all the prayers for Kathy; Praise the Lord - she is finally home from the hospital after 54 days! She has lost 85 lbs. of the 100 lbs. she gained in the first month;in the hospital. The weight gain was due to the tumor and her kidneys not functioning properly. The tumor was across her entire abdomen; it is now the size of a small apple - PTL! She has had her second round of chemo and is doing pretty well. She will have to go in for daily blood work to make sure she can continue to stay home. Continued prayers are appreciated.

The tumor has grown in Kathy's abdomen area and she is till extremely swollen. She has been having to get platelets and/or blood transfusions daily. She's doing physical therapy to try and gain some strength - just sitting in a chair exhausts her. Please pray that her kidneys start getting rid of the fluid that has built up in her body and that the water blisters on her side do not become bed sores. Also, please pray for healing, strength and comfort. Also, pray for Kathy's family during this difficult time.

She had her last round of chemo last night for a while. Kathy was moved to the University of Colorado hospital and following a biopsy, she was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, Burkitt Lymphoma. She was put on dialysis 24/7 as her kidneys were close to shutting down. They are removing her blood to clean it and putting it back into her body and she has now had three chemo treatments. She will remain in ICU until she no longer needs dialysis and she will then be transferred to a different floor where she will stay another three weeks. Once she is transferred out of ICU they will start hitting her hard with the chemo. Please pray for healing, strength and comfort. Also, please pray for Kathy's family during this difficult time.

She will be having a procedure to insert an IVC filter to prevent blood clots this afternoon at 3 p.m. Tests show that she has a blood clot from her ankle to her groin and they will be trying to puncture it after the filter is in place to see if they can get rid of it. Unfortunately, she will be unable to attend their family reunion. Please pray for complete healing and relief of pain, but also that she would be encouraged and not too disappointed about missing the reunion.

Request: Brandie Dalpiaz (Jeanne's granddaughter) is experiencing neurological issues, fine motor disturbances. It could be something that is extremely serious. We are naming it at this time, but are praying & asking for prayers for healing. Request: Karen Roberts (Chris Wooten's cousin) suffered a brain aneurism Tuesday morning and was unable to wake up. Her husband found her & rushed her to the hospital only to discover that the aneurism had caused a massive heart attack. Jimmie is out of the hospital & placed at Life Care Center of Plano skilled nursing for two to three weeks to help gain his strength from having pneumonia and & a mini stroke & strengthening his body with physical therapy & occupational therapy. He is still undergoing IV antibiots & breathing treatments. Please pray for his body to continue to get stronger.

Request: Jimmie Mince (LeAnne's dad) was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, March 25, with pneumonia. He also had a TIA (mini stroke) but with no long term damage. The CAT scan showed no major stroke. Pneumonia is in his left lung. Please pray that Jimmie will do what the doctor & nurses tell him to & give him understanding that he is truly sick.
Praise, Praise, Praise! Randy's biopsy results came back & they were great! The part they biopsied showed not only NO dysplasia cells, but also no Barretts cells! The doctor said he is very excited & he thinks the next surgery in two months will be the last one. It's working & God is working! Thanks for the prayers!

Request: Yesterday one of NMSI's affiliates, Kylee Boden, the wife of NMSI Director of Human Resources, Matt Boden, died due to complications in child birth. Kylee had developed eclampsia & was due to have an early C Section at 35 weeks. Everything was looking fine until yesterday morning when she began to have severe headaches and nausea, as they were getting her read to head to the hospital she began to have seizures and lost consciousness. The C Section was done upon arrival at the hospital, and their fourth child "Caleb" was born healthy at 6 lb. 10 oz. However, a CAT Scan was done that revealed inter-cranial bleeding had begun prior to arriving at the hospital, and Kylee was not able to overcome the damage.

Mitch's Dad is now done with all of his tests. It was determined that these symptoms were caused by sleep apnea. He had been diagnosed a few years back with this, but he hasn't been wearing his breathing apparatus at night since he experiences something close to claustrophobia when he wears it. It sounds like there is newer technology that won't be as confining. They checked everything to determine if there were any signs of lasting damage, but found nothing. Once again, thank you all for praying for my dad and mom.

Mitch's dad is doing okay. The doctors told him he has a "skip" (the technical term his brother used) in his heartbeat. He as send home for now & was told not to work until after his upcoming appointment with a specialist. Please also pray for Mitch's mom as this really upset her.

Request: Please keep Kelly Strom Bolger in your prayers. She is my best friend from high school and called Wednesday to let me know that she has cervical cancer. She is 42 and has 2 small children. She sees the oncologist Wednesday to find out when she will have to have a radical hysterectomy to hopefully get all the cancer out. We will know more then, but she is very worried, but strongly believes in the power of prayer and has asked for God's healing during this time.

Request: Please pray for my sister, Vickie. She went to the emergency room Monday night vomiting blood and there was blood in her stool. She has a serious infection in her colon. They wanted to admit her, but she refused. She saw a doctor to follow up on Wednesday and the doctor refused to treat her for a "stomach ache". We are trying to convince her to go back to the hospital to get the treatment she needs. She is a single mom on assistance from the state and my parents are overburdened with helping to support her.
